Shawn Eric is MAGIC!  He performed for my 60th birthday party in front of family and friends.  What an outstanding show!  People who attended my party still talk about his performance.  It made my special evening spectacular.  I highly recommend Shawn Eric to perform his magic for you.  You won't be disappointed.  And Shawn, the "Ace of Spades" is still on the ceiling.  You will need to hire him to find out the meaning of this.  Thanks Shawn for making my 60th birthday memorable!!!

Shawn Eric performed at an event at our home and all of our friends and family were quite impressed.  Shawn Eric is engaging, personable, and can cater to any crowd.  I was especially impressed by not only his skills as a magician but the fact that he could cater to my 8 year old daughter, amazing her, and still maintain the older crowd's piqued interest.  Shawn Eric has great communication skills and promptly responds to inquiries and questions. AMAZED! Already plan to hire him again for future events!!!  Thank YOU Shawn Eric!

The Magic Castle for Your Events!

Recently at the Magic Castle, I had the pleasure to see a group of about 20 business people from some company enjoying a show in the Parlour of Prestidigitation.  They all wore a special button, sat together, and were clearly having a good time.  Afterward, I reflected about how much fun the Castle would be for some of my clients and their corporate events and parties.

I also had some ideas about how a business group could enhance their experience at the Castle.  For example, imagine team building exercises like a group scavenger hunt?  Or an observation & memory contest, ie. what's in each room?  Art & exhibits?  The names of the magicians and their signature effects?  Or possibly a problem solving contest, how's it done?  These informal games & quizzes can really add an extra element of fun.  They can be used to motivate & inspire your people, especially if there are some big prizes to be won.

Magic Castle Fun!

The W.C. Fields' Bar is one of my favorite places to work at the Magic Castle because the party atmosphere encourages the guests to respond as they would in most other real world venues.  This type of bar magic entertainment is a great attraction at resort and restaurant lounges (especially could be at A Different Pointe of View lounge at the Pointe at Tapatio in Phoenix, Arizona...hint, hint;).

The Eric Effect

Inspired by The Carbonaro Effect and Penn & Teller, imagine...

Your guests are gathering & the party is starting to heat up.  

The doorbell rings and a delivery guy shows up with a pizza.  

You invite him in, he notices a deck of playing cards, and offers to do a card trick.  Your guests of honor picks a card, shows it around, and shuffles it back in the deck.  The pizza guy offers a bet that he will find the card or you'll receive your pizza for free.  But after several tries, he can't find the card.  Finally, he ask what card was chosen, opens the pizza box, and SURPRISE!

I just wanted to take another moment to express my sincere gratitude for having you here last night. It's one thing to be talented as a Magician, but it's another to be such a wonderful person and have the amount of patience that you have.  You really took the attention off of the food being an hour late and I can't thank you enough for being so flexible and wonderful!  You were the hit of our party and all of our employees are still talking about it today and how much their children enjoyed you.  Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, you are such a pleasure and I am so thankful to have connected with you.  If we ever need a magician again, you will be my only call :)
